V razstavni dvorani Tartinijeve hiše so odprli osebno razstavo “Kipi” umetnika Tonija Antonia Missona.
Umetnika in dela je predstavila Nives Marvin, umetniška kritičarka in kustosinja Obalnih galerij Piran. Prisotne je pozdravila predsednica Fulvia Zudič, spregovorila pa je tudi Daniela Paliaga Jankovič iz Skupnosti Italijanov Piran.
Razstava bo na ogled do 2. junija.
Prva samostojna razstava v domačem okolišu. Prva razstava v Piranu. Prva razstava v najlepši palači zgodovinskega jedra mesta Piran. To se dogaja samo v sanjah, boste rekli. Prav imate. V resničnem svetu je drugače. Resnični svet trdo delo in vztrajnost nagradi tako, da te obda z ljudmi, ki znajo opazovati in jim čutnost, ujeta v sicer abstraktne oblike, ki jo nekdo vztrajno preliva iz svojih misli in najbolj skritih kotičkov svoje notranjosti v kamen in les, nikoli ne uide. In ti ljudje prej ko slej ustvarijo pogoje, da resničnost prekosi celo sanje. Sanje upokojenega Portorožana Tonija Missona, čigar prvo samostojno razstavo male plastike so v prijetnem prijateljsko-družinskem vzdušju odprli 8. maja 2024 v Tartinijevi hiši, kjer je v nekem drugem času, tako oddaljenem, da ga ne bomo niti oštevilčili, še kot neizklesan mladenič v plesnih ritmih sanjal o prihodnosti, danes pa kot izoblikovan zrel moški občuduje svojo v kamen in les vklesano dušo.
Toni Antonio Misson se je rodil v Messini, z družino se je nato preselil najprej v Labin, nato pa se zasidral v Piranu. Oblikovanju kamna se je posvetil šele po upokojitvi. Ta ga je namreč prepričala, da mora na pot. Na tisto pravo, hribovci bi jo označili kot nezahtevno, ki ga je vodila do kraške planote Vojsko, in na tisto drugo, veliko bolj zahtevnejšo tudi za izkušene osvojevalce tuzemskih in abstraktnih vrhov, na koncu katere je našel sebe.
Kot je povedala Daniela Paliaga, ena izmed pobudnic razstave, mora biti čudovito prispeti do določene točke svojega življenja, ne vedoč, da v sebi nosimo zaklad, ga nato odkrivati in razkrivati. Ravno želja po razkrivanju je bila po njenih besedah ključna za to, da sta se njegovi ustvarjalnost in občutljivost tako bujno razrasli.
»Presenetila me je njegova želja, da bi bil viden. Da bi ga razumeli. Da bi z drugimi delil občutke, ki so se v njem porajali brez razumske razlage. Kot močan notranji pritisk,« je dejala in dodala, da ji je zaupal, da v vsakem kamnu vidi, kaj bo iz njega ustvaril.
»V vsakem kamnu se skriva tisto, kar želi prikazati,« je pojasnila Paliaga.
Med razstavljenimi deli se nahaja tudi njegovo prvo, ki že na prvi pogled izstopa. Ne samo zaradi črne barve, ampak predvsem zaradi motiva. Skupka več motivov. Na eni strani morje in jadrnica, na drugi pa srce. Njegovo srce.
Kot je dejal, je črni kamen nekaj časa samo opazoval, ko se je sprehajal mimo … Vedno je pritegnil njegovo pozornost. Enkrat ga je preprosto vzel domov. Ne da bi pomislil, da bi iz njega kaj naredil.
»Potem pa je prišla težka preizkušnja. Soočil sem se z vprašanjem, kako naprej … Upokojitev je prišla nenadoma, zdravstvene težave so prišle nenadoma, zelo mučno je bilo to izpraševanje in iskanje poti … In ko sem prvič vzel v roke ta kamen, sem pomislil na dvoje; na morje in svoje srce. In ju vklesal vanj,« je z nami delil čustveno zgodbo.
V najvišje ležeči vasi na Primorskem, ki ponuja čudovit razgled vse od Triglava do Snežnika, je očitno nekaj, kar človeka navdihne. Vzbudi misli, čustva, tlakuje pot do sebe in drugih.
Samota in divjina Idrijskega hribovja je dala življenje skulpturam, ki tako vsebinsko kot s svojo zgradbo pričajo o umetnikovi ljubezni do doma, na kar je opozorila tudi Nives Marvin, umetniška kritičarka in kustosinja Obalnih galerij.
»Avtohtona, za Istro značilna kamen in oljčni les, na videz trdi, surovi in kleni gmoti mu s svojo težo, maso in večtisočletnim obstojem pomenita sredstvo in izziv v udejanjanju kreativnosti in intimne izpovednosti,« je dejala.
Skulpture po besedah Marvinove obiskovalca »nagovarjajo s preprostimi, mehko občutenimi in dinamičnimi oblikami, ki poleg konkretnih predmetov, kot so barke, jadrnice, ribe in druge živalske podobe, tu pa tam pa še človeška figura, izražajo umetnikovo večletno poglobljeno raziskovanje tako tehnik obdelave kot tudi zahtevnega ustvarjalnega procesa očiščevanja, razgradnje in subjektivne shematizacije konkretnega motiva v abstraktno formo.«
Slednja pa, kot je poudarila, obiskovalcem ponuja poseben izziv v obliki iskanja lastnih interpretacij in samoizpraševanja ter seveda tisti najbolj neposreden stik – dodana vrednost skulptur je namreč v tem, da se jih lahko dotaknemo, pobožamo, občutimo.
In če bi med občudovanjem komu prišlo na misel, da bi kakšno umetnino kupil … Naj kar pozabi, saj niso na prodaj, kot je Toni Missoni zelo jasno poudaril.
»Vse stvaritve so moji otroci, teh pa se ne zamenja za noben denar,« je dejal.

Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website.
